What’s not included
Each trip has a dedicated team leader who you’ll meet before departure and they’ll travel with you to Ghana.
Your team leader will organise flights and provide advice on travel insurance, visas and answer any questions you may have. Your GP/Doctor will be able to give you advice on Vaccinations.

Fundraising
We aim to help each volunteer fundraise the full amount needed for the trip. We’re here to give you advice and support, we have partnerships with several organisations whom allow our volunteers to fundraise with them. Your team leader will assist you and your team in organising individual and team fundraising events.
London Underground allow us to fundraise on the underground and several days will be given to each volunteer, in an average day of fundraising you can expect to raise between £200 – £700.
Virgin Money Giving give volunteers the ability to fundraise online, set-up their personal fundraising page making it easy to raise funds from family and friends. See Thrive Africa here.
Terms & Conditions
- Project dates can change depending on flight availability.
- Deposits are 100% refundable if cancelled no later than 4 weeks before departure.
- All funds raised can only be refunded to the donor and not to the fundraiser.
- GiftAid which is added to donations can’t be included in the amount we ask each volunteer to raise as we cannot guarantee we’ll receive it.
- We ask each volunteer whom is eligible to undertake a CRB check as part of our commitment to child protection. We will give you advice and support through this and it is free of charge. You can view our child protection policy here.
